This place has been my home venue since the 90's. Playing on this stage with Frail and Witness Relocation Program I was lucky enough to share the stage with a ton of our friends in area bands like 8 x 10, Core, S.A.T.O. and so many others. I also got to play on this stage the same night as some of my heroes like Warrant & Kings X and so many others. That isn't even including the great shows that Breach the Asylum has been fortunate to be able to share with our friends in bands like One Day Waiting, Downfire, Rapture, Grunge Type Thing etc..

Over the years, the family run place made me feel like I was part of the circle. Having drinks at the bar with the owner Frank, really made me feel special. We kept almost getting him on stage with us, and back in July we learned a KISS tune that Frank picked, so he could come sing it with us. Sadly, we never got that opportunity as he was in the hospital at the time of the show. Then we lost our friend Frank Pallett in August. Just a month later, his sister passed away. Carolyn was a Co-Host on the "Live from The Chance" radio show, and a part of the club. These 2 losses were hard to absorb, especially after the tragic loss of Bob Morf (The Lighting Guy from The Chance) - June 2021. 3 Hard Losses, in such a short period of time.

Evereyone who played on this show was on this bill because they are special to me, and the band. They are Friends and fellow musicians who get it! School of Rock students on stage, while some Teachers like Greg Enkler (my Bass player), Alex Friedlander (our kick-ass lead Guitarist) and Jimmy G from Craving Strange stood front and center to see Puppets for Hire give an awesome performance! I CANNOT WAIT TO HEAR the original tunes from you guys! Also, let's not forget that Doug from Blue Alien Mystic is also a music teacher. To our friends from Long Island -
Craving Strange - thanks for coming up to our neck of the woods, As well as being a great band, they are some of the absolute best people I am proud to call friends. If you haven't checked them out yet... Why? GO HERE

You never know who will make it to the show, but Charles & Nick... You can almost always count on them to be at the show. Although the show itself was not a benefit, being able to raise funds for Frank's 2 girls for their first Christmas without their Dad and their Aunt, mattered to me. Thanks so much to our Sponsors for the show Sweetwater & Duces Restaurant at DC Golf
I hope to be able to make and witness more memories in this special place. The Chance is a landmark & the only true staple of the area music scene. More stories are left to tell, more stories are yet to be told. And also, some may never be told... in public.
Thanks for reading, and caring! Hope to see you at some shows!
Thanks - Respect, Support & Love Breach the Asylum
